4. NCSEM East Midlands
‘Hub’ is a newly built facility at Loughborough University
Strong research base from Leicester, Loughborough and Nottingham Universities
Co-location of research and clinical facilities will accelerate the translation of research discoveries into clinical practise

5. NCSEM Sheffield
Innovative Hub and Spoke model with “Concord” and “Thorncliffe” spokes having opened in the last year.
The model adopts user-centered health care design principles to co- produce new models of care with patients and stakeholders that have physical activity at the centre.
The “Move More” programme represents a unique city-scale field laboratory for the testing of whole system interventions to increase physical activity.

6. NCSEM London
The London NCSEM hub is the Institute of Sport and Exercise Health (ISEH)
ISEH provides excellence in elite sports performance and elite and amateur sports injury prevention and management
The London hub bridges the gap between elite sport, amateur sports and exercise prescription.

To provide world class teaching and training in sport and exercise medicine.
To deliver improved health through increased levels of exercise.
To deliver world class research in the sport and exercise arena

Evaluation: Providing academic rigour to support high quality research and maintain the reputation of the Sport and Exercise Medicine specialty.
Education: Supporting the education of healthcare professionals to improve the use of exercise prescription.
Influence: Using influence to effect changes in policy around physical activity.
