BY:KOBY TOMOYE HENRY HAMILTON

WHO IS THIS PERSON!!! Henry Hamilton was a member of the British parliament for Donegal, County, Ireland. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, 1734 and later joined the 15 th regiment in the British army. He became the lieutenant Governor of Canada and British commander of Fort Detroit during the American Revolution. He was known as the hair buyer because he paid American allies. Then, he served as Governor of Bermuda and of Dominica. He died on the island of Antiqua in 1796.

WHAT ROLE DID HE PLAY?? His small force got Native American allies and entered Vincennes on December,17,1778 and captured Fort Sackville and the commandant, Captain Leonard Helm. Then, Colonel Clark returned and recaptured the outpost and took Hamilton Prisoner.

WAS HE A LOYALIST OR PATRIOT??? Henry Hamilton was a loyalist. I know because if you fought for the British then you were loyal because you stayed with them.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT Henry Hamilton didn’t believe in the enlightenment ideas because he already had what he wanted.

DID HE SURVIVE???? Yes, he survived the revolutionary war

MY OPINION My opinion of this person Henry Hamilton is that he is a real bad and wicked person. He fought for Britain because he didn’t want any other person to have the money, Power, and land they have.
