2  Born November 19, 1752 in Albemarle County Virginia.  Education  Captain in Dunsmore’s War.

3  Move to Kentucky.  Made a delegate to make Kentucky a county to Virginia.  Get gunpowder for Kentucky.

4  Gets approval from Virginia government.  Raised the Illinois Regiment.  Camp at Falls of the Ohio.  Capture Kaskaskia.  Peaceful submission of Cahokia and Vincennes.

5  Initiation of contact with Native Americans.  Treaties at Cahokia and Vincennes.  Peace with all of the tribes in the region.

6  Lieutenant Governor Hamilton retake Vincennes.  Clark’s march to the Wabash.  Crossing the Wabash River.  March to Vincennes.

7  Battle for Fort Sackville.  Hamilton surrenders.  Aftermath.

8  1780 Campaigns.  Clark made a Brigadier General.  Lochry’s Defeat.  End of the American Revolution.  Battle of Blue Licks and Piqua

9  1786 Campaign.  Clark debt takes toll.  Clark made a Major General in the French Army.  Loss of health.  Clark died on February 13, 1818 in Locust Grove, Kentucky.
