Nick knew the Daisy and Gatsby from Jordan, and Gatsby wanted to meet Daisy with the Nick‘s help. Gatsby and Daisy met in the Nick's house because of the Nick's help. Tom and Gatsby met again, and Tom felt not good to Gatsby. Tom and Daisy were invited to Gatsby's party. Gatsby wanted to take the blame of the hit and run. Tom said to Wilson the car owner is Gatsby. Wilson killed Gatsby and killed himself. Tom and Daisy leave the town. Gatsby, Nick, Daisy, Tom, Jordan went to New York in Plaza Hotel because of the hot weather in summer. Gatsby and Tom started fighting each other and it was getting worse. Finally Gatsby and Daisy leave first. After then there was a car accident. Myrtle was dead.

Three days after the incident happened, Henry C. Gatz, Gatsby’s father who knew Gatsby died from the Chicago newspaper, came to Gatsby’s house for Gatsby’s funeral. Nick got a call from Klipspringer and seemed he was relieved for that seemed another Gatsby’s friend would come to Gatsby’s grave. Nick promised himself to bring anyone to Gatsby’s funeral for Gatsby. Nick recalls the day when Gatsby died by Wilson two years ago.

In the morning of the funeral, Nick went out to meet and asked Meyer Wolfshiem again to come to the funeral. Even when Nick felt the most excited in the East egg, he dreamed the more fantastic life of West egg. Gatz reminisced as he showed Nick Gatsby’s young picture and the book called ‘Hopalong Cassidy’ that has ‘Gatsby’s ‘SCHEDULE’ written on the last fly-leaf. Even though the funeral ceremony began, only Gatz, Nick, a pastor, servants, a postman and owl-eyes attended.

Before leaving for home, Nick wanted to place everything in order. On the last night, Nick went over and looked at that huge incoherent failure of a house once again. Nick mulled many things over a life of the Eggs, and he thought Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before the others. Nick was in New York on Saturday nights so that he could hear the music and laughter faint, because he felt those gleaming, dazzling parties of Gatsby were with him so vividly.
