Individual task Emily Mynheer

Role in the project My roles within the project are the director and the interviewer. As a director I will be in charge of the production of the video, I will have a say on the camera angles, audio etc.

Director Research The director is in charge of the making of the film, the director has the ability to change and alter any of the creative aspects of the production. The director also has responsibility over the film crew therefore if the film crew messes anything up it is usually down to the director to correct. Bibliography: Film director (2016) in Wikipedia. Job role: The job role of the director includes being able to lead a team, they will need to be able to manage a film crew and they will need to be organized to ensure the success of the production. There are no qualifications needed to be a director however a qualification in the following as well as basic English and maths is preferable Journalism, film, communication, acting, arts management etc. In order to be a director you would need good leadership skills and you would need to be good at communicating with others, you will also need to be well organised and have good time management to ensure the success of the film. Role in the project As the interviewer I will be in charge of delivering questions to the band and ensuring I get a good answer. I will also be responsible for making the band feel comfortable as if they are uncomfortable it could limit some of the responses.

Interviewer Research Interviewers can ask both open and closed questions, Open questions lead to longer answers, the usually use the words how, why, when, what, who. These questions can give the audience more interesting and in depth answers. Closed questions are usually questions that have a yes no answer, these questions are better for closing the interview. Interviewers need to show good eye contact with the person being interviewed to make it feel like a conversation instead of an interview, otherwise the person being interviewed could be put on edge by the camera and that could lead to short answers. Job role This job role requires you to be confident when talking to people, and when in front of a camera as some types of interview require you to be in frame.
