THE PALMER CATHOLIC ACADEMY EXPECTATIONS OF PUPILS IN CLASS 1. Start of lessons Arrive to lesson on time Enter rooms when instructed sensibly and go straight to your workplace Take off outdoor wear and ensure your uniform is correct Stand for the academy prayer Take out books, pens, all required equipment and planner T

2. During Lessons Remain silent when your teacher talks, and concentrate Put effort in class and complete all set work to a good standard Put up your hand to ask or answer a question: NEVER call out! You are expected to work sensibly with your classmates; do not distract them You must remain seated at all times, unless otherwise requested Eating, drinking and chewing are not allowed. (Pupils may have a bottle of plain drinking water- not in Science labs) Mobile phones are not allowed. They will be confiscated You must not leave a lesson without a note from a teacher. N.B. some pupils have permission to go to the toilet at any time for medical reasons. Their planner should indicate this Homework must be recorded in planners and completed by the date due
