Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Bill  Establish Integration Joint Board  Identify/appoint a Chief Officer of Integration Board  The LA Health Board must jointly prepare an Integration plan – detailing model/functions  National Health & Wellbeing Outcomes  Requirement to prepare strategic plans (commissioning)  Engage/Consult with localities

Local Approach  Scope – Adult Services  Body Corporate Approach  Partnership Board & 5 localities  Build on what we have now (LD/MH/Cheviot)  Focus on outcomes not structures

Improved Outcomes  For patients, service users and carers (keeping safe, living well as you can be)  For Services (timely provision of care, new day opportunities)  For organisations – efficiencies agenda, targets  For Scotland – national priorities
