Strategic Plan Update Current plan adopted 2009 –updated 2010 Board of Directors review and reassess Final to be adopted in June 2014 Reaffirmed current strategic initiatives Prioritized eight strategic initiatives –“primary” and “secondary”

Strategic Plan Update Three Primary Priorities –Equal Priority –Advocacy of Public Works –Professional Development – Integrated and Comprehensive –Support and Strengthen Chapters

Strategic Plan Update Five Secondary Priorities (in order of priority) –Ensure Financial Sustainability –Utilize Technology to Better Engage and Serve –Grow Membership and Enhance Engagement –Advancing Sustainability –Strengthen International Role

Membership 28, 530 at end of March 2014 –97% retention of agencies/81% individuals – 2,189 Canadians (7.67% of total) Maintained membership past 5 years –Economy down; no decline Chapter visits/outreach –Staff, regional directors and officers

Utilize Technology to Engage Internal iMIS 20 (AMS) platform on track Great Plains (accounting) updated Telephone/Lync software upgrade –Improved member/customer service Chapter template project
