Example: Senior Fellow Overview: The ‘dimensions of practice’ (areas of activity, core knowledge and professional values) must be met at the level of descriptor 3 in order for an individual to be recognised as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy

The Senior Fellowship recognition application process (non-credit bearing) Application assessed by two independent assessors recognised to a minimum of D3 (SFHEA) An internal assessment panel will act as the examination board to confirm the provisional decisions made by the Assessors Panel has an external member (recognised at Principal Fellow)

Key Dates Deadline for submission to Panel 1(8 th May): Friday 10 th April Deadline for the submission to Panel 2 (14 th July): Monday 29 th June

The Senior Fellowship recognition application process (non-credit bearing) Outcome: o Successful applicants will be eligible for Senior Fellowship of the HEA o Unsuccessful applicants will be provided with feedback and encouraged to resubmit following further development
