Spanish IV Course Objective The basic skills learned from previous levels will be applied. The emphasis is on the application of these skills through native readings, music and the arts. An all target language approach is emphasized to the utmost at this level.

Weighted Grades Grades are calculated using a weighted system. Homework 15% Tests 30% Quizzes 25% Other 30% (anything that doesn’t fit in the first three categories)

Required Materials (Sp. 4) Every Day students must bring: Textbook Notebook Pen or Pencil A dictionary is suggested 501 Spanish verbs is suggested

What do we do in class? Speaking activities (pair & individual) Writing activities Reading activities Listening activities Vocabulary lists Online learning activities

What should your child be doing at home? Reviewing vocabulary daily Looking over any notes from class Completing homework Practicing the language when able
