Campus Sweeps Teachers are responsible for setting up classroom computers (teacher and student computers). Technicians will not setup computers or other technology equipment. Computer Setup Video will be available on the internal homepage. Procedure: Complete orange checklist on Thursday, August 13 th then tape to the back of the monitor. AISD technicians will use this checklist to make repairs and will initial document. Return your orange bag to campus liaison. Any additional technology needs should to be entered as a Technology Support Request after the technicians have been on your campus.

Select Formspace At the very bottom on the left hand side select Submit New Form Select Technology Select Phone Change Liaisons pony Phone Change Form to Marcia Greer Friday, August, 21st afternoon or Monday, August 24th, morning.

Campus Sweeps Week of August 17 th  Ensure “T01” Computers are working. Technicians will only be working on T01 computers.  Enter Technology Support Request for other technology needs. AISD 411 Icon Located on desktop of district computer. Once opened, shows information such as:  Computer Name  IP Address  User Name Gives links to technology tools.

Automatic Logins Elementary Campuses Only Any elementary computer with S## as the computer name will automatically login to a student account. If a staff member needs to use the computer, log the student out and login as themselves. To login again with student rights, restart the computer. Other computers require staff login credentials. If a computer should be renamed as a student computer, enter a Technology Support Request. (The computer connected to the projector should always be named “T01.”)

Secondary Student Logins Username: student ID number Password: aisd[mmdd] (Birth month / Birth day) Once password is entered, student will be prompted to change password to an 8-15 character password.

Do Not Move Computers or Phones Always Save to My Documents  Items saved to the desktop are not backed up on the server. Existing user-created shortcuts may need to be setup again to reestablish connectivity. (example: a shortcut created to a document)
