Meet Mrs. Keith Welcome to Mrs. Keith's math class. This is my fifth year at Calhoun High School! I love teaching! My previous experience in elementary, middle, and high schools allows me to help my students to make connections with new material.

Meet Mrs. Keith I have been fortunate to be a member of the state team of educators who worked on the new Algebra 1 and Geometry curriculum as well as facilitated GA Department of Education summer math institutes for teachers. This experience gave me a unique understanding of what to teach and how to teach it to ensure our students master the new math courses.

Meet Mrs. Keith I am highly qualified to teach high school mathematics. I am also certified to teach gifted students. Currently, I am pursuing my doctoral degree in educational leadership and curriculum and instruction.

Meet Mrs. Keith My husband of 20 years, my sweet daughter (18), and my wonderful son (13) support me in my education and career. My daughter is a proud Calhoun High school graduate and a student at the University of Georgia! She is about to start her freshman year! Together, we love taking care of our pets, going to the movies, and playing games. We also love going to the beach. This summer, we visited Panama City Beach and had a great time!

Meet Mrs. Keith If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to me any time. I have posted helpful materials on the Important Documents page. For detailed lessons, videos, calendar, and daily homework assignments, please visit our Canvas classroom (virtual classroom). Please see me for log-in instructions.

Welcome to Mrs. Keith’s Class! Franklin D. Roosevelt is credited with the quote "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future." This quote reflects the nature of our classroom. I will support the mathematical habits of mind our students will need in workplace of the future.

Why do we do what we do in our classroom? Franklin D. Roosevelt is credited with the quote, "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."

In Your Groups On an index card, each student writes two truths and one lie about him- or herself: 1) 2) 3) Upon completion, each student reads what he or she wrote to the group. The group tries to figure out which is the lie
