Student Honors Shelby Roth – Wayne State College RHOP Scholarship Recipient – Rural Health Opportunities Program Vanessa VonSeggern – Young Artist Award Winner – Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, University of Nebraska-Lincoln – Will be honored April 8 at a banquet in Lincoln
Testing Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) – 8 th and 11 th grade students have finished the writing assessment – Reading, math, and science testing window is from March 23 through May 1 The National Assessment for Education Progress (NAEP) – 8 th grade test is scheduled for February 12 – 4 th grade test has been completed English Language Development Assessment (ELDA) testing window is from February 9 through March 20

EHP Coop Track – Schedule has been finalized – Uniforms have been ordered – It continues to be a positive experience – We are continuing to talk transportation Speech – Started at the beginning of the second semester – 2 consistent participants from Pender – Competitions have already started JH Sports – Coaching assignments have been made, but they will be re-evaluated at the end of the school year – Some uniforms have been ordered, but there is still a lot yet to order
Student Schedules Mr. Nixon has registered all students in grades 6-10 He is completing registration with all juniors to look at individual student needs As problems/challenges/issues present themselves, corrections are being made
