Skills that are necessary to a CNA include taking patient vital signs, providing proper medication, food service, and care for the patient. That is a scary subject to talk about, but in reality, infection control is something that you do every day, and is as simple as washing your hands before and after touching something infectious, such as garbage, your hair, your face, or even after sneezing and coughing. Worked Example: To answer the question, Chris will guide the learners through a worksheet that is designed to address hand washing and test the knowledge of the learners. The “Soap” link takes the learner to a poster for hand washing, and the “sink” takes the learners to the worksheet. Once the worksheet is complete, the learners have the chance to check their answers.
