THE HISTORY OF EARTH DAY The first Earth Day was held in 1970 in the US. Today, Earth Day is celebrated in more than 192 countries!

WHEN IS EARTH DAY? Earth Day is Friday April 22 nd Celebrate both at school with your friends and teachers as well as at home with your family Although April 22 nd is Earth Day, you can care for the Earth any day of the year

WHY IS EARTH DAY IMPORTANT? It is a day to reflect and show our support for our planet, and our environment Lets us think about what we can do to help keep our planet and environment healthy

WHAT HAS COME FROM EARTH DAY? Recycling and wasting less Using energy efficient products, such as LEDs Promotion of hybrid and electric cars Support for environmental groups
