MONTH BY MONTH CURRICULUM CALENDAR Each grade is a different color Just write the name of the lesson Add all holidays, teacher work days, early release, and other activities Helps me to plan what lessons to do and not “wing it.” Always reevaluating and changing due to schedule changes

HOW TO BE PREPARED FOR THE WEEK Think of each item you must have completed to be ready, for example Change “I can” statements Sort student papers from drying rack by tables Move cleaning procedures chart Add new vocabulary words to PowerPoints for each grade Prepare background PowerPoints or videos Add plans to Oncourse Create critique and rubric for my 4 th and 5 th grade projects Prepare clay for next week Make multiple copies and keep in weekly plan book to use each week.
