 Talkabout  In consultation with our editor; Talkabout will be updated to a new format and content  A5 printed version  version available  More about encouragement and resources  Calendar of events only – all applications etc on the website  ed to all GB churches

 State Council  From 2014 – new format  Encouraging and Equipping  Encourage – devotional time  Equipping – guest speakers on various issues and/or resourcing  Action – back to business  Encourage all leaders to attend

 To the churches  The GB Affect - a newsletter about current GB issues is now been issued and is being sent to all contacts known at our GB churches  Printed copy to all current churches – copy to any former GB churches  Dream....to have a church liaison person in every company

 Some of these are in place and some are just suggestions:  Mid North Coast - requested a Junior Camp in October  South Coast – has offered to run PLT weekend  Western – PLT Weekend  Northern Inland – perhaps a Junior camp and Leaders Training combined  North Sydney, South West Sydney and Western Sydney Mountains – Regional Fun Day each

 BRIGADE HOUSE – for South West Sydney, Western Sydney Mountains Regions, Sans Souci and anyone else  PLT Training weekend combined with Leader Training  Casino - could join any of the events as planned

 What happens to State Events?  Looking at once every two years – could be a Kuikardu, a State Camp, Girls’ Getaway or something new.  2015 – Kuikardu at Wet’n’Wild Sydney  2014 – IGNITE in September

 One day event except for election years – then a weekend camp  2014 –  One day at Brigade House  Speakers, workshops, Business  Dinner on Saturday night  Overnight accommodation at Brigade House or billeted with local leaders

 Theme re: GB – Being Relational  Speaker  Business – to ensure everyone has a voice  Workshops (tentative)  Executive & Protocol Training  Using new program resources  Assistant Leader Training  Digging Deeper – leading devotions with older girls.

 Ideas Exchange Tables  Every region brings resources and ideas to share and exchange  Crafts  Devotions  Camps  Fun nights  Anything that has worked well in your companies and regions  Dinner  Saturday evening dinner together

 Dream  To be able to take the workshops and resources with us when we go to the regions for those leaders unable to attend conference.
