CDE Instructional Design Infrastructure for Online and Digital Learning Sloan-C certified instructional designers collaborate with faculty in pedagogy of online program design and delivery. Operation of Blackboard Learn learning management system, Blackboard Analytics, Blackboard Outcomes, in addition to other enterprise tools such as Adobe Connect, Echo360, Kaltura video delivery system. Dedicated DE support specialists assist UTA faculty, staff, students. Coordinated administrative efforts in Offices of Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs, Student Financials, IT, and Reporting

CDE Building Capacity Academic Partnerships AP provides national marketing of key online programs, with RN-BSN Online as strongest performer. Blackboard Student Lifecycle Services Blackboard Call Centers, including Killeen, TX 24/7/365 telephone, live chat, and handling of Bb technical issues Will supply administrative assistance to students (registration, financials, student persistence) beginning Summer, 2014.

Highlights Spring, 2014 semester registers a record 11,384 “fully online” students in both AP and non-AP degree programs sees 2953 graduates in online degree programs at UTA. Campus receives two national awards for quality from United States Distance Learning Association, bringing UTA total to six since Supplemental Instruction (SI) for UTA online learners launches. UTA joins national e-tutoring consortium. College of Nursing launches international MOOC-to-Degree offering in Patient Safety. Gates Foundation supported international MOOC Research Initiative Conference, December, LINK Research Lab founded, to research networked learning, open educational resources (OER), new educational technologies UTA active in SARA national state authorization reciprocity planning.
