Othello Test Wednesday, November 12, 2014 Honors MYP

Quick Write: Favorite Passage  Look back through Act V. What is your favorite passage?  Why is it your favorite?  What is it about?  How does it contribute to the meaning of the play?

Objective, Agenda, & HW  Objective: Students will identify key events in Othello.  Agenda:  Quick Write  New Greek Roots  Othello Test  Homework:  Greek roots are due Monday.  Bring your ID on Friday.

Greek Roots  Copy the following roots into pages 6-8 of your composition notebook to help you study for the final.  Cosm = world, order  Polis = city  Auto = self  Gam = marriage  Morph = shape

Othello Test  Write your heading (your name, my name, class/period, and date) in the upper left corner of your loose leaf paper.  Number the paper 1-45 (1-25 in column 1 and in column 2).  Put your Othello books away. You may use notes in your composition notebook.  Write the letter of the correct answer legibly on your paper.  You may read quietly when you are finished.
