The story so far … From 2013 there was no KS2 English Writing test. This was replaced by Teacher Assessment and a SPaG test. This year, Year 6 children will be assessed in this way. From 2016, Year 2 and Year 6 will take a GPaS test, which will also incorporate handwriting and vocabulary element.
