“The Auburndale Way” ① Playing Style – “Ball possession, taking good care and maintaining control of the ball as a team. Always looking to move the ball forward and to be offensively dangerous.” ② Training – “ The primary focus of each session is to help our players improve in their technical ability and challenge them to better understand the functional and tactical aspect of the game.” ③ Methods – “ We will accomplish this by using developmentally appropriate (age and skill level) functional and technical activities, which are based on small-sided games”.

 "TOPSoccer" is a training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, administered by trainers and volunteers in our Organization.  The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability.

 Absolutely no interference during any training session or game. *Would you shout at your child while he/she was learning to read? *This Negatively Impacts their development  Parents should be on opposite side of the field to the coaches during games and training  Speaking to coach – (Wait 24 Hours)  Make sure your child is properly equipped and on time to practices and games. Let coaches know ASAP if you’re going to be late or absent.  We very rarely cancel practices or games – extreme conditions - thunder and lightning, heavy rain or snow

 College Night late Spring – Date TBD  ID Training within club  Create a pathway to local and regional universities  Meet with Soccer Director for advice

 The Academy Affiliate Program will help set the foundations for the club’s Academy. Through the affiliate members the Cosmos will be able to identify local talent and give young players the opportunity to play for the North American Soccer League (NASL) team’s academy  A Direct Pathway to a Pro Club – Youth Academy  Cross Marketing / Branding  Best Practices  Direct Link to the Club

 Evolve and Transition with the rest of the World  Adoption of Small Sided Games and Calendar Year  "With these initiatives, we’re more likely to have players better prepared down the road. With small-sided standards, what we're trying to do is to help players develop by putting them in an environment where they are constantly involved in the play, and our changes in birth-year registration will make age groups easier to understand, while aligning our calendar with the international calendar.” ~ Tab Ramos U.S. Youth Technical Director and U-20 Men’s National Team head coach

 We never expected the changes  Feeling helpless – USSF Imposed Sanctions  College Recruiting / Scouting  Dreams to Play on National Team - 1%  The leagues are not giving clubs a choice  Existing Relationships will be strained  Will allow a 12 month age gap

 Participate in Fundraising Efforts / Events  Summer Small Sided Fort Totten  Keeping club informed to assist in resolving issues - communication  Player movement policy  Coaching Requirements / Licenses  U7 Training Program  Puma Affiliation  Scholarships for a demonstrated hardship  Coaches Education – March 12  Camps and Clinics
