 Score system :  The server calls their score first then opponents before each point unless you are on T.V. then the umpire says the score:  0 = love  15  30  40  Deuce  Advantage in = Server  Advantage out= Receiver  To End a game you have to reach 40 and win the next point  Sets:  The first to win six games, except they must win by a margin of two games,  Play best 3 of 5 sets  If games are tied 6, 6 then you play a tie breaker  Tie breaker- first to win seven points, if lead by 2 points= score has to be 7-5 to win the tiebreaker

 To win a Point:  Server or receiver hit ball out of court, into the net or miss the ball  Double fault  If the ball bounces twice  Player uses fowl or unethical court conduct will loose points, games, sets, and get kicked out of tournament  If You show up late to an match after 15 min you loose an game, eventually disqualified  IF a ball touches an permanent fixture besides the net, posts, sticks, cord or metal cable strap, if ball hits the umpire and goes into play you the player who hit the umpire looses point

 When Players change ends:  Players change ends at end of 1st, 3rd and every subsequent alternate game of each set  End of each set if the total of games are not even  Officials:  USTA certified Junior and Adult tournaments are based on Honesty system, no officials, call the ball out by signals  Honesty signals: Out= hold finger up or say out  Shot is in= palm down and or say good shot  Let= say let  Depending on size and code of tournament a roaming umpire is around, to settle a disputes.

Professional Tennis  Professional Matches have officials: Chair umpire, Ball boys and girls, line judges and an Official in the office above the court, computers and sensor machines help with line calls.

Coaches  No coaching during match in USTA Certified tennis event  Coaching Allowed in NCAA (College), and Davis Cup Team  Coaches can watch match and take notes, if caught giving signals to student in match thrown out of tournament

Psychomotor Skills  Forehand - Hold racket in dominant hand, with proper grip, turn and pivot your shoulders and feet to right for right hander, proceed to a downward swing, let the racket drop to about knee level, followed by upward swing till contact with ball is made, racket face should be vertical at impact, follow through and catch the racket with non dominant hand by opposite shoulder.

 Serve- Hold racket in dominant hand with proper grip, feet should line up at opposite net post, non dominant hand should toss the ball, now rotate your hips till your head face sideline and toss the ball out to the side of your body and to the right, racket should make contact with ball about four of five inches inside the court, racket should follow through to opposite side of your body, Your no dominant hand and racket should make an X on the finish. 
