Introducing the WildCare Trust
Presentation transcript:

Wild Care Trust Wild care trust is based on donations and trying to get young people to adopt a animal. This presentation will include facts about endangered animals, information about your membership, options membership fees and how you can get involved.

Facts about endangered animals The total known world population of the mountain gorilla is about 786 individuals, split almost evenly into two. Wild tiger numbers are at an all-time low. The largest of all the Asian big cats may be on top of the food chain and one of the most culturally important and best-loved animals, but they are also vulnerable to extinction WWF’s experience over nearly half a century has shown species conservation is vital — and it does work. Already, conservation efforts have brought many animals back from the brink of extinction. It has helped to not only conserve rich and varied ecosystems but also delivered real benefits to local people through new livelihood opportunities and sustainable development.

Threats to these animals Living things face a constant barrage of external stresses or threats that challenge their ability to survive and reproduce. If a species is unable to successfully cope with these threats through adaptation, they may face extinction. A constantly changing physical environment requires organisms to adapt to new temperatures, climates, and atmospheric conditions. Living things must also deal with unexpected events such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, meteor strikes, fires, and hurricanes. They are at risk off being burnt down cut down all sorts.

Membership options Wildcare Teens (13-19 years) Members will receive a Welcome Pack and will be able to download a database of information about endangered species. The pack will include a membership card, sample results from the database, a leaflet with information about some of the animals and an adoption application form. Wildcare Kids (Under 13s) Members will receive a Welcome Pack including a membership card, a badge and a sticker album. Members will receive stickers and activity sheets twice a year to keep them up to date on the work of the charity.

Hope you enjoyed this short presentation You can help these animals? YES ! Give us a ring or fax or even it’s that simple. Tel: Fax:
