Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme OBJECTIVES 1.To improve the skills and competencies of people, especially young people, in initial vocational training at all levels with a view to promoting employability and facilitating vocational integration and reintegration 2.To improve the quality of, and access to, continuing vocational training and the lifelong acquisition of skills and competencies 3.To promote and reinforce the contribution of vocational training to the process of innovation, with a view to improving competitiveness and entrepreneurship, also in view of new employment possibilities

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme MOBILITY Transnational placements and exchanges for people in training, especially young people undergoing training, university students, young workers and trainers.

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme Placements 1. Placements of young persons undergoing initial vocational training in training institutions and companies. Duration: 3 weeks up to 9 months 2. Placements of university students in companies. Duration: 3 – 12 months 3. Placements of young workers and recent graduates in training institutions and companies. Duration: 2 – 12 months

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme PILOT PROJECTS Projects aiming at the design, development, testing, evaluation and dissemination of innovative practices in terms of methods, content or products in the field of vocational training and guidance. Maximum duration: 2 years Financial support: 75% of the eligible expenses with a maximum limit of euros/year

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES These proposals are concerned with promoting language and cultural competencies in a vocational training context including projects on less widely used and taught languages. Maximum duration: 2 years Financial support: 75% of the eligible expenses with a maximum limit of euros/year

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme TRANSNATIONAL NETWORKS The programme supports transnational networks of European expertise and dissemination. These networks undertake three functions: –assembling, distilling and building on European expertise and innovatory approaches; –improving the analysis and anticipation of occupational skills requirements; –disseminating the networks outputs and project results throughout the Union in the appropriate circles. Maximum duration: 2 years Financial support: 50% of the eligible expenses with a maximum limit of euros/year

Cyprus National Agency for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme REFERENCE MATERIAL Community support is available for the creation and updating of Community reference material, especially for surveys and analyses, the creation and updating of comparable data, the observation and dissemination of good practice, and the exhaustive exchange of information. Maximum duration: 2 years Financial support: % of the eligible expenses with a maximum limit of euros/year
