Management requirements Safety culture Safety management system be established, commensurate with size and nature of the authorized activity  allocation of responsibilities related to protection and safety  identification of and response to problems  training and internal information exchange

Management requirements Quality assurance programme, as appropriate adequate assurance that protection and safety requirements are met quality control mechanisms and procedures for reviewing and assessing effectiveness of protection and safety measures

Management requirements Human factors personnel shall be trained, qualified and perform their duties with appropriate judgement equipment and operating procedures should be designed to facilitate safety and minimise human errors to accidents

Management requirements Qualified experts Shall be identified and made available for providing advice on protection and safety and compliance with regulations Shall be qualified and experienced, commensurate with practise in question Notified to the Regulatory Authority

Waste management requirements Return of sealed sources to the manufacturer When purchasing sealed sources, licensees shall make a contract for the return of spent sealed sources to the manufacturer Copy of the contract shall be submitted to the Regulatory Authority (annex to the application for authorization)
