Formal Writing Rules Live them, love them, learn them, USE THEM!

Rules of Formal Writing  Do Not Use PRONOUNS:  I  We  Me  Us Only Write in THIRD PERSON (He, It, She, They)

More With Pronouns  Keep your emotions out of it!  Use outside sources to SUPPORT your points.  Keep your passion, but watch your writing.

Rules of Formal Writing  Do not use CONTRACTIONS:  Can’t = Cannot  Won’t = Will Not  Don’t = Do Not  Couldn’t = Could Not  They’re = They are  Etc. This will eliminate silly mistakes in using the wrong word.
