Structure of Your Composition  Opening sentence – write what you want to describe in your writing.  Body – write 6-7 sentences describing your topic. Use a lot of adjectives.  Closing sentence – give your personal opinion or impression about what you described.  Write words – one paragraph.

Describing People  When you describe people you may want to include the following information:  Physical appearance.  Personality, character.  Attitudes, behavior.  Interests, hobbies, profession.  Your personal impression / opinion.

Topic: Describe a Special Person  When I think about a special person, I think about my friend Sheila. Sheila loves gardening and in the spring her garden is full of colorful flowers. Sheila also writes wonderful stories. She even won a prize for a short story she wrote! In addition, she plays the piano. Sheila has amazing, beautiful eyes. She has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. I actually ride it everywhere. In the summer I will go on long trips with it. To sum up, I'm really excited about this present. It's the best present I have ever got!

But the most difficult thing was to organize everything without him knowing about it. In the evening I told him that we were going to see a movie. At the same time all the friends were in the house getting ready for the party. When the movie was over, we went to his house and everyone shouted "surprise!" it was really a great party!
