9 We use so... that, such... that: a) to show a fact (usually with a result or consequence) Ann is very tall  (Expresses a fact) Ann’s so tall that she can't find trousers her size. (Emphasizes that you feel strongly about her height). b) to show extreme feelings or an opinion about something Mark is very kind  (Expresses an opinion or fact) Mark is such a kind person that everybody likes him. (Emphasizes the speaker's opinion of the intensity of Mark’s kindness). c) In exclamations In exclamations we drop the word 'that' and use: a) such + noun (singular/plural) b) so + adjective She’s so tall!He’s such a kind person!
