Grade Check  In the first column write the following:  2 NWS grade / S1 grade

You are a team!  Everyone must keep their hands on the sheet.  You cannot talk to one another.  Your task is to keep the ball balanced on the bucket at all times while moving from your designated start and stop point.

Activity review  What did you observe during the activity?  How does it relate to our journey of earning a college degree?

Pre-read quick write – 2 minutes  What does being happy, thankful, and grateful mean to you?

Preparing to read  Number the paragraphs (should be 15).  Scan the document (2 minutes)

Marking the text  Circle the words grateful, happy, and opportunity.  Underline the authors opinion.  Star (*) items you agree with.  Put a question mark (?) next to items you would like to further discuss.

Create CNs over what you read  Think about the author’s message and create an EQ and objective based on your perception of the author’s purpose  Complete the right hand side of the CN.

Author’s lecture  As you listen to the author add to your CNs as applicable.

Planner Review  There must be something written for each core subject on each day.  Suggestions for no home work days  N/A had time to complete HW in class  N/A was absent or on a field trip  Need to review my notes on KE for quiz next week.  Another words…you should have something to think about every day in every class!
