Take responsibility for your actions, your reactions and you inactions. – Do not avoid responsibility by making excuses – Do not blame others – No emotional displays – Or by helplessness

Take responsibility for expanding the limits of your knowledge, understanding and skill 17. Seek and tell the truth…even if it is unflattering to you. 18. Accept directions from those who are more knowledgeable or more experienced.

19. Value the resources required to perform the professional duties (including time) 20. Respect the values, interests and opinions of others that may differ from your own, as long as they are not harmful. 21. Accept the fact that others may establish objectives for you. 22. When you attempt a task the second time…you do it better. Revise, problem solve, consider peer judgments of best practices.

23. Accept imperfection of the world in ways that do not compromise the interests of those you serve. 24. You base your opinions, actions and relations with others upon sound evidence, and upon examined personal values consistent with the previous. 25. You expect the same from other professionals.
