Why should we cooperate? Sharing products and information Cost efficient – less double work Sharing experience and ideas Cooperation between international organisations, governments, NGO’s, researchers could spread the word to a broader public.

What could the UN do? -Needs assesments and surveys -Promote international cooperation and exchange -Generate resources, both finances and materials -We need your needs!

Survey of current activities and needs What do we have and what do we need? -Survey of activities – helps to identify needs, opportunities and assets for sharing. -Countries are encouraged to include art 6 activities in their National communications -Survey for this workshop -Clearing house -Need to continue to identify what exists and what is needed
