Non-perishable food is donated by the public that is people like you and me!

Volunteers sort and pack food and it gets taken to one of the distribution points in our van.

Frontline care professionals such as doctors and social workers give foodbank vouchers to people in crisis.

Foodbank vouchers are exchanged for 3 days of food at a foodbank.

County Durham Foodbank has 27 distribution points across the County open at different times.

Foodbank volunteers take time to listen and signpost clients to further support.

Today in County Durham there are families struggling to put food on the table. For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis – redundancy, benefit delay or even an unexpected bill- can mean going hungry. Every day parents skip meals to feed their children and people are forced to choose between paying the rent and eating. But how can you help those in need in County Durham?
