5. What causes food crisis?

6. What foods do we give people at the foodbank?

7. What happens to the food? Volunteers sort and pack food and it gets taken to one of the distribution points in our van.

8. County Durham Foodbank has 27 distribution points across the County open at different times.

9. Foodbank vouchers are exchanged for 3 days of food at one of these distribution points.

10. Today in County Durham there are families struggling to put food on the table. For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis – redundancy, benefit delay or even an unexpected bill- can mean going hungry. Every day parents skip meals to feed their children and people are forced to choose between paying the rent and eating. But how can you help those in need in County Durham?
