Adjective Order There is another acronym you need to memorize in order to know and understand the order of adjectives.  DOSSAC OMQ D- Determiners O- Observations and Characteristics S- Size S- Shape A- Age C- Color O- Origin M- Material Q- Qualifier

Adjective Order Determiners  There are 6 different determiners. Possessive Adjectives A/An/ The Demonstrative Adjectives Indefinite Adjectives Interrogative Adjectives Numbers

Determiners Possessive adjectives always start the list of any adjectives.  My big black dog ate the cat.  Our red car was stolen last night.  My mom said, “Your backpack is over there.”
