Diversity Initiatives

Institutional Diversity Council Membership: Appointed by the Provost, in consultation with the Director of Institutional Diversity. Includes a mix of individuals representing different cultures, genders, ages and ethnicity. In addition, representation from students, staff, faculty and administrative bodies. Individuals with a variety of world experiences are present to assist in meeting the committee’s goals.

Institutional Diversity Council To advise the University Administration and Office of Institutional Diversity on policies, practices, and issues related to diversity at Andrews University To make recommendations to the University Administration, and University Senate on policies, practices, and curricular issues related to diversity at Andrews University To create dialogue between student leadership, university leadership, and the Office of Diversity on policies, practices, and issues related to diversity at Andrews University

Institutional Diversity Council To facilitate ideas regarding awareness, open communication, scholarship and research, grant writing and more in relation to various forms of diversity To facilitate training across the university in bias reduction, cross-cultural communication, and cultural leadership skills To assist the Office of Diversity in measuring outcomes related to diversity at Andrews University
