Demerits -Each student is given three opportunities to leave the classroom per semester. -Reasons to leave the classroom and take a demerit include the following: bathroom, water fountain, look for materials in another teacher’s classroom, and locker -After a student has used all three demerits, they will be given a detention each additional time they leave the classroom until the end of the semester.
