1. January 4, 2016 Mrs. Seman D-104 Science 7 th Grade Please have your schedule page ready for me to initial and then find your seat.

2. You will sit in your assigned seat for this week.

3.  Be respectful.  Follow directions.  Actively participate in class. New Discipline Sheet Starts today!

4.  1 st warning  2 nd student/teacher discussion and parent will be contacted  3 rd 20 minute teacher D-Hall and parent contact  4 th 30 minute teacher D-Hall and parent contact  5 th – office referral

5.  Arrive in the room before the bell rings.  Have all needed learning materials with you.  Participate fully in class activities and learning.  No food or drink is allowed in any classroom without permission from Principal.  No cell phones or personal electronic devices allowed – District Policy will be enforced

6.  1st -2nd Tardy: Will be a verbal warning.  3rd Tardy: Parent contact by teacher. Lunch Detention assigned by teacher/ reported to the library.  4th Tardy: 2 days of Lunch Detention assigned by teacher/ reported to the library.  5th Tardy: Skyward Referral for Tardies /Administration contacts parent and assigns 1 hour after school d-hall/letter sent  in referral.  6th Tardy: Skyward Tardy Referral/ Administration contacts parent and assigns two 1 hour d-halls to be served after school.  7th Tardy: Skyward Tardy Referral/Parent Contact (conference if needed)/ Saturday school assigned and guidelines letter sent home.  8 or more: Tardy referral/2 days of ISS assigned

7.  Emergency situations will be handled on an individual basis by the teacher. Two passes per semester in Mrs. Seman’s class.  Failure to serve the lunch d-hall will result in further disciplinary action.  Tardies will accumulate per six weeks and then start over each six weeks. If a total of 10 tardies is received during the six weeks in any class, the student will be assigned three 1 hour after school d-hall. Students will have 4 days to complete the assigned discipline. If discipline is not served, student will be placed in ISS until the time is completed.

8.  First, you will pick up your science notebook. These will be kept in the class crates.  Sit in your chair! No one goes anywhere the first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes of class.  Do the Warm Up activity – Copy the sentences on the page provided. The back of page will be used for awards. Keep up with this page. You will need it for quiz on Fridays.  Actively participate in class each day! Be respectful, and follow directions.
