What is the System Circulatory System - the organs and tissues involved in circulating blood and lymph through the body Circulatory System - the organs and tissues involved in circulating blood and lymph through the body. Circulatory system is a body’s transportation system. This system delivers nutrient and oxygen to the body’s cell and helps remove carbon dioxide, gas and other wastes from the cell. Circulatory system is a body’s transportation system. This system delivers nutrient and oxygen to the body’s cell and helps remove carbon dioxide, gas and other wastes from the cell.

Job of the Circulatory System What is the job of the Circulatory System? The Circulatory System is responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body. It transports nutrients, water, and oxygen to your billions of body cells and carries away wastes such as carbon dioxide that body cells produce. It is an amazing highway that travels through your entire body connecting all your body cells.

Different Organism Parts... Blood Vessels HeartBlood Lungs

Heart Heart Heart- the main organism in the circulatory system If our heart sops beating we will die. Heart- the heart works like a pump, to move blood thought the entire body.

The Blood Vessels In class we talked about three types of blood vessels: ArteriesCapillariesVeins Arteries –Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen rich blood AWAY from the heart. Capillaries –Capillaries are tiny blood vessels as thin or thinner than the hairs on your head. Capillaries connect arteries to veins. Food substances (nutrients), oxygen and wastes pass in and out of your blood through the capillary walls. Veins –Veins carry blood back toward your heart.

3 Common Diseases One of the most common diseases of the system is arteriosclerosis. This results from the accumulation of fatty deposits in the arteries. Another diseases, hypertension, commonly call high blood pressure, is often associated with arteriosclerosis. Hypertension make heat work harder and many lead to such complication as a heart attack, a stroke, or kidney failure. And pericarditis, it is an inflammation of the pericardium or serous covering of the heart.

Lungs Lungs Lungs- an analogous organ in certain invertebrates, as arachnids or terrestrial gastropods. When you breath in its CO2. When you breath out its O2

Circulatory System is Important, Because: Is important to our body’s survival, because the circulatory system transports oxygen, nitrogen and waste through the blood. Blood leaves the heart through arteries, these lead to Capillaries which are so small that blood calls more through them in single file

3 Facts about the system. One drop of blood contains a half a drop of plasma, 5 MILLION Red Blood Cells, 10 Thousand White Blood Cells and 250 Thousand Platelets. One drop of blood contains a half a drop of plasma, 5 MILLION Red Blood Cells, 10 Thousand White Blood Cells and 250 Thousand Platelets.
