2 Q : What is an Iguana?  A: An Iguana is a type of reptile. These coldblooded animals have a long tail, eyelids, and four sprawling legs.

3 Q :what does a Iguana look like? A: Iguanas can be green, brown, or yellow. They use their powerful legs to swim and climb trees. Iguanas have a dewlap which is loose skin hanging from their neck.

4 Q:What do Iguanas eat?  A: Iguanas are mainly plant eaters. They eat leaves, flowers, and fruit. They also supplement their diet with insects, worms, and other small animals.

5 Q:What are the predators of an Iguana?  A: Iguanas are killed by some large birds of prey  Foxes, rats, weasels, some snakes, and people.  Their eggs are also eaten by many animals.

6 Fun Fact  A female will dig a shallow trench in moist soil  in which she will lay 20-70 eggs. After covering  The eggs with soil, there is no more parental  Care. When the eggs hatch, the young live in  Trees and eat insects that they catch themselves.
