6 Utah Birds Burrowing Owl Instead of living in trees, this owl likes to dig holes and live in the ground. It eats rodents. It is only 6 or 7 inches tall.

7 Bird Facts Birds are warm blooded They usually build nests to lay eggs in. Depending on the type of bird, they eat seeds, insects, worms, caterpillars, fish, rodents, snakes, lizards, dead things and flower nectar. Utah birds live in deserts, mountains, valleys and by lakes and rivers.

9 Facts I Learned about Reptiles 1. They are cold blooded. That means they cannot make their own body heat. 2. They can grow a new tail if they lose it. 3. They have scaly skin. 4. They eat their food whole. They don’t chew it up in bites.

13 Facts I learned about Utah Fish  1. Fish must live in water. Most like to hide under rocks or by water plants.  2. They eat insects, worms, insect larvae, and smaller fish.  3. They are eaten by bigger fish, bears, raccoons and men.
