4 Island Gemini Climate Description Island Gemini is an island located to the north of Hawaii’s capital city Honolulu. Island Gemini is at 20.5N,170W. The island has an average temperature of 25 °C ~28 °C, the temperature at our country is both warm in the summer and winter. The climate region our island is in, is tropical wet and dry. There is the North Equatorial and the California Current flowing near by. The water might not be warm, but the temperature above sea level is much hotter. Island Gemini has caves that contains diamonds. Volcanoes, waterfalls and rivers also exist there. It also has tall mountains that rarely has dusty snow on top. Although it does rain on the island, but not a lot. The average precipitation on island Gemini is 2~13 cm per year. The vegetation that grows there is the Tropical savanna. There are park like landscapes of grasslands with scattered trees. The island has two seasons one is rain (wet) one is dry. This climate supports grasslands and scattered trees. (168)

Gemini’s leading exports are raw sugar, molasses, and processed pineapples. Other exports include coffee, macadamia nuts, and other foodstuffs; clothing; flowers, especially orchids; cement; and oil products.

10 Climate Concerns Global warming concerns in this region of the world? On average, each Hawaii resident adds four pounds of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere every hour of every day. Heat-trapping greenhouse gases contribute to stronger hurricanes, rising sea levels, hotter summers, and prolonged drought.
