1 Copyright Reserved GreenTech Malaysia 1 Project Brief/Summary  The LCCF project was initiated to encourage green townships and support the government policy in reducing 40% of carbon emission per GDP per capita by the year 2020 (baseline 2005).  The framework and assessment system was launched in September 2011. Objectives  To develop and recognize at least five (5) cities certified as Low Carbon City or Green City in Malaysia by the year 2014. Project Fund: RM 1,814,554 Duration: 1 Jan 2013 – 31 Dec 2013 Expected Outcomes  Baseline Study for 4 Pilot Projects to be completed with provisional certificate  3 Advance Training sessions completed  BCiS Phase 2 completed  1 Train the Trainers session completed  2 Roadshows conducted  4 Energy & Water Consumption Reduction Training Conducted Status  Data collection and analysis in progress at all 4 pilot sites (50% completed)  1 Advance Training session completed  BCiS Phase 2 55% completed.  Training session planned in Q4  1 roadshow conducted  2 Energy & Water Consumption Reduction Training Conducted PROJECT : LOW CARBON CITY FRAMEWORK (LCCF) REPORTING PERIOD : 1/8/2013 – 31/8/2013
