Recently the phenomenon has been brought into focus that more and more students prefer to rent rooms outside the school rather than live in the school dormitories. Generally, the advantages for both can be listed as follows. Living in a dorm is of benefit to students fitting in with one another. Besides, in the circumstances, students are able to exchange their ideas on how to improve their studies. Moreover, it can ensure students safety, for they need not go out of school. Compared with living in a dorm, living in a rented house has its own virtues as well. Firstly, students can be absorbed in their work in the quiet conditions, thus improving efficiency. Finally, students could control the time freely. Personally, I entirely believe that students are supposed to live in the dorm, because safety is the most important.

现象 - 话题 Nowadays, more and more students choose to rent a house outside instead of living in a dorm. The reasons for that usually come down to several main points as follows. 上下文承接句 租房子 First of all, living outside actually means freedom. Nearly every student has a strong desire to be independent from others and rules. They wish to have their own space. Another reason is that living outside provides quiet learning conditions. 另外一个层次 But it has its own drawbacks as well. To begin with, students may run the risk of danger or accidents on the way to or from school. Besides, they have not much chance to communicate with classmates if they live outside.

住校 On the other hand, living in a dorm also has some positive effects. It is of benefit to promote understanding and friendship among students. What’s more, it is far safer than living outside. 另外一个层次 However, living in a dorm is inconvenient sometimes. Students may have no access to finding a quiet place to do their lessons after class. …..(your choice and brief reasons)

Sixty percent of the students hold a positive opinion on the cyberspace. There are some reasons as follows. Above all, the Internet shortens the distance between people, making the world connected like a big family. Besides, the Internet expands approaches to the changing world by providing varieties of instant information. Furthermore, the cyberspace makes our lifestyle more colorful, as we can go shopping or see movies on the web. Forty percent of the students express negative views. Firstly, it can’t be denied that convenience of the cyberspace may encourage people’s laziness and lack of exercise. Secondly, some new kinds of crimes committed by using the internet may be a great threat to people’s safety. As far as I am concerned, everything has its two sides. We ought to make the most of the internet, at the same time, we should avoid the harm the cyberspace may do to us.

The debate has drawn all the classmates’ attention and we hold different views about whether the cyberspace is good or not. 60% of the classmates are positive about the cyberspace. The reasons are as follows. To begin with, the cyberspace provides us with a fast way to search for information or read news. In addition, we have chances to keep in touch with families or friends, even we can talk with them face to face on the line. Last but not the least, it is convenient for us to shop in the cyberspace, which saves us money at the same time. However, others are totally against the use of the cyberspace. Firstly, many people will depend on the cyberspace and don’t work independently. Secondly, someone may spread negative and bad information, which does harm to users. As far as I am concerned, the cyberspace is pretty useful. What’s important is that all of us are supposed to make it clean and green.
