2 In 1830, Emily Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts and all of her life she lived there. Her parents were Edward Dickinson and Emily Norcross Dickinson She went to primary school for four years Her education was influenced by Puritan religion She fell in love and married a minister named Reverend Charles Wadsworth She experienced and emotional crisis Her traumatized state of mind inspired her to write prolifically Dickinson had a kidney disease, which led to her death BASIC FACTS
