Her parents were Edward Dickinson and Emily Norcross Dickinson She went to primary school for four years Her education was influenced by Puritan religion She fell in love and married a minister named Reverend Charles Wadsworth She experienced and emotional crisis Her traumatized state of mind inspired her to write prolifically Dickinson had a kidney disease, which led to her death BASIC FACTS
