Be the owner of the demand planning process for responsible business area (Cluster/PBU) Implement a methodical & standardized forecasting approach for the responsible business area. Focus on continuous forecasting process improvement and ensure standard work is done in a standard way (One Goodyear Way) Provide leadership & input in monthly consensus cross-functional forecasting (S&OP) meetings and incorporate learnings to improve the forecasting process. Ensure that the monthly forecast submission deadlines are respected. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Duties & Responsibilities Lead the demand planning process & activities for the responsible business & cluster. Start with establishing the baseline forecast & provide guidance for and align on the total consensus forecasts (18 months horizon) to ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with market/customer trends. Communicate consensus plans and the assumptions behind them. Achieve continuous improvement of the accuracy of demand forecasts. Ensure that appropriate forecasting processes and methods are being followed and updated as needed. Maintain forecast system data integrity. Be the liaison between local and regional teams and functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance and other Supply Chain functions) by utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach. Ensure regular alignment with Supply Planning in order to facilitate demand management Be THE expert in forecasting and demand planning businesswise as well as systemwise. Be responsible for data maintenance, champion new ideas and approaches. Ensure Standard work is done in a standard way. (One Goodyear Way) Develop forecast mindedness and establish a general feeling of performance ownership from people to ''their'' business / area of responsibility. To join our team you will need: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain related field. Languages: Fluency in English, any other language will be considered as asset Experience: Min 3 years work experience in demand planning/forecasting or supply chain related fields Country/Market Experience is a clear asset Knowledge and skills: Knowledge in integrated supply chain systems, SAP APO DP, Excel, Access, Powerpoint. Good understanding of forecast models and methods, Supply chain processes and practices. Core skills : leadership, analyzing, decision making, influencing, organizing and controlling, initiative, flexibility, tenacity, effective communication skills, creativity, driving for results, building effective relationships with people at all levels, driving for change/improvement, reliable, accurate and timely.
