You will be responsible for professional and technical work related to network and telecommunications solutions (Local Area Network/ Wireless, Wide Area Network, Datacenter Network, Internet Edge, Application Networking Services ). The Opportunity Evaluate and propose technology solutions which will deliver highly secure and dynamic IT services Service Design Processes: Research industry trends and component advancements with the goal of incorporation to service designs to better anticipate and satisfy customer requirements (Service Catalog, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Service Continuity, Information Security, Supplier Management) Service Transition Processes: Develop new tools and/or processes to provide visibility of performance, cost or other potential areas of improvement (Knowledge and Change Management, Asset and Configuration Management, Release and Deployment Management, Transition Planning and Support, Service Validation and Testing, Evaluation) Work with/across global/regional/local IT teams by providing advanced/expert consultation for responsible services Develop detailed designs, business cases, and communicate detailed architecture recommendations needed to support business critical systems and operations Plan, document, implement, and debug network solutions and related software and systems. Incumbent may be required to do advanced configuration or system modifications to those environments Advanced to expert level of technical knowledge. Expected to be 3rd level of escalation for technical support Participate in an Emergency On-Call Rotation for after-hours and weekend support. Flexible schedules and 24x7 support availability (generally scheduled in advance) may be required as necessary to support the technical needs of our customers To join our team you will need: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline is required Experience: Minimum of five to eight years’ experience in Information Technology, two to three years specific information architecture experience IT skills & others: Ability to understand the business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business Strong analytical and problem solving skills; as well as influencing skills Creates relationships with new acquaintances quickly and confidently; works to build trust and partner with stakeholders; successfully manages both internal and external relationships Advanced to expert level of technical knowledge. Expected to be 3rd level of escalation for technical support Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization and assemble complete project plans Ability to lead complex projects, monitor the results, and make adjustments as needed to ensure goals are accomplished.
