It is a great way to gauge overall trends in hardware usage. Who Owns What

5 Source: TAM Ireland Ltd /Nielsen Establishment Survey May 2011 / May 2012 HDTV is experiencing good growth - up to 16% from 11%. As the offerings from the channels increases we expect the HD subscriptions to continue to rise. Who Owns What

This is what is driving time shift viewing and slowly changing the way we view TV. Who Owns What

7 Source: TAM Ireland Ltd /Nielsen TAM Establishment Survey May 2011 / May 2012 As the October 24 th deadline for the digital switchover looms there are still 17% of homes that need to make the switch – this is only down 3% points from last year. Being Irish no doubt we will leave this change to the last minute! We expect to see a very dramatic difference in October but will be monitoring the rate of this switchover monthly from now till January. Who Owns What

PC/Laptop/Tablet is by far the most popular alternative screen and this has grown from 19% to 20% over the last 12 months. Who Owns What
