2. Project Overview Second graders are working together to publish a cookbook of healthy recipes. They plan to make videos to post on our website on how to make these recipes. They also would like to sell their cookbooks in the spring!

4. Writing Cookbooks Monday Review the examples of various cookbooks. What is the author’s purpose in each book? Tuesday Table of Contents Explore the different ways that a Table of Contents can be set up in various examples of cookbooks. Wednesday Recipes Explore the various recipes in your cookbook. How does the author make the recipes easy to follow? Thursday Explore your cookbook and look for the ways the author tries to get the reader interested. Friday Choose your favorite cookbook. List 10 reason why this cookbook is your favorite and what we can learn from it for our cookbooks.
