1 Welcome! Camp Slusher

2 Meet Mrs. Slusher I have been teaching for 20 years. I am happily married and we have one son who is in 4 th grade here at CS. We have a chocolate lab that we recued and a sweet little cat. I enjoy crafting, floral arranging, and cooking.

5 Behavior Plan A verbal warning will be given first. If a child needs a reminder, they will move their clip to the rule on which they need to improve. They will sit out for 5 minutes. They will also fill out a behavior slip which will be in their agenda and must be signed and returned the next day. If there is a need for a second clip move, the child will miss half of the activity and get a behavior slip. Extreme situations are rare, but will be handled as the situation dictates.

6 Incentives Individual = tickets – Tickets go into a drawing at the end of the week. – Children get tickets back to use at the Trading Post once a month. Group = points Class = Class Bingo – Bingo spaces earned for compliments, good behavior in cafeteria/specials, etc. – Class Rewards given for every 25 spaces.

12 Bucket Fillers/Notes In My Pocket Bucket Fillers – Stickers when I see them doing something helpful or kind. – Fill the bucket and go the treat basket! Notes In My Pocket – Children write positive notes to each other and leave them secretly in their pockets 1.

13 Arrival and Dismissal Arrival 7:40-7:55 Tardy at 7:55 Dismissal – 2 nd -5 th from cafeteria – Pull up in front of school – If they have a K or 1 st sibling, they will be in Music room with them. – Must have car tag.

15 Misc. Water bottles – Spill proof – Water only Birthday treats – 20 kids – Invitations must be given to whole class Snack – Bring a nutritious snack each day. Transportation Changes – Must send note in to make changes. NO EMAILS for this.
