1 Classroom Rules

2 Q: What do I consider being on time? A: Being on time means that you are in your seat when the bell rings and working on your daily journal. BE ON TIME

3 Enter the room, get your journal, and go directly to your assigned seat. Once you are seated, begin to write on the daily journal prompt. You will write for (about) five minutes. It is important that you start writing as soon as you can! Journals will be collected and graded each Friday. Writings are two points a day (10 points a week). If you miss a class, you must still write an entry. HOW TO START CLASS

4 When correcting papers in class, pass your paper to the person behind you (last person passes to the front person). Always use red pen (assignments should never be written in red). Total the number wrong from the bottom of each page and write the total on top of the first page. Always sign the bottom of the paper you corrected! PAPER CORRECTION

5 Pass papers forward Front row: pass the papers to the right Place the papers in the basket HANDING IN PAPERS

6 Corrected work will be placed in the class folders If you are looking for work that has not been handed back in class, check the folder. Papers and Tests are kept in portfolios and will not be in the return folder. You will only get those items when handed back in class. GETTING PAPERS BACK
